A Piece of Humble Pie! We learned with Pastor Donny that Jesus lived in a culture that valued getting ahead, accumulating both wealth and status and yet, Jesus preached and modeled humility.  He was constantly reminding His followers who were wanting the best seats in Heaven, He was reminding them if you want to be the greatest you must become a servant to all.

This week we explore the somewhat mysterious interactions that Jesus had with two of his apprentices, on the road to Emmaus, who did not recognize him right away (Luke 24:13–35). We see that Jesus provokes our faith with questions, and ultimately offers the great reversal of all that seems to have gone wrong. And it all started on “the day the Revolution began.”
