Jeff Hendrix on Matthew 11:2-11 This third Sunday in Advent brings us to the Sunday of Joy. In this passage we see John the Baptist, who was the one who proclaimed Jesus as the Messiah now questioning whether Jesus is really the Messiah. Expectations can sow disappointment and our task is dying to our expectations of who Jesus is and just follow him and allow him to reveal his joy to us.

Jeff Hendrix on Matthew 3:1-12: 2nd Sunday of Advent. This week TICF enters into a major transition. In the midst of that transition we find John the Baptist calling us into a deeper understanding of what it means to prepare the way for the Lord.
