Thursday House

Today is our kitchen sink episode. We discuss Chalee's new hobby of foraging.  Also, we comment on some mighty fine Twitter threads related to culture. We finish off with tasting some of Chalee's homemade reworked dark chocolate.  Spoiler alert: it is yummy.  Grab a coffee, afternoon tea or an early cocktail. It is time for Thursday House. 

Chalee and I discuss how to cook squirrel and 26 recipes for beets. April Fool's! We are talking about how to use twitter for good or at least how to survive it.  And Chalee unveils her new hybridized preschool curriculum for both typically developing kids and special needs kids who school together. 

In this slightly longer Thursday House, Chalee and Chelsea talk about things Zuby learned about humanity during Covid in their Twitter reflections.  They also played a fun game of "Would you rather...?". And ate some awesome Get out bag treats from your local 7-11 or Kroger. 

We are once again bringing in one of our kids to spotlight cool things for kids. Here about educational video games, good books, fun volunteer projects for 8-12 yo boys from my son Elijah. Stay for yummy meat sticks and snotty root beer.

Chalee and Chelsea delve deep into how feminism and self-care are actually keeping women from happiness.  It gets kind of deep, but in a lighthearted way.  Then, we wash away all of the unpleasantness with the best snack we have ever had: Popcorners!

This week we discuss the need to get outside help for the things we moms do day in and day out. We talk about how this is not only helpful but sometimes very necessary. You do a lot mama, why not outsource? As we begin the show, Chalee has a musing about the differences she and Chelsea have when it comes to kids snacks. Chelsea also makes the case for Snickers bars almost being a health food.

In today's episode, we start with a list! I see if I can get Chelsea to name the top 10 supermarkets. Can you name them all? Some of them are pretty regional. We also get serious with a message for rising and current college students. As always, we have something fun to try and we ask the age old question, "What are you having for dinner?"
