Things are getting interesting in Chapter 14 when one of the champions is found murdered the day before the first test. Celaena begins training every day at dawn and officially meets Nox Owen while giving him some pointers on knife throwing. In Chapter 13 Celaena begins training harder to get stronger for the competition. We meet Princess Nehemia Ytger of Eyllwe and she asks Celaena to keep her company while she is at the castle. We have our first Chaol POV and learn that someone has killed a few royal hounds and their half eaten remains were found in the castle.
