We take a brief break from full reviews to tackle our least favourite horror movie remakes.

The creature features continue as a small alien slug worms its way into our heads and forces us to discuss James Gunn's 2006 B movie homage, Slither.

The boys head to the Double Deuce for a couple of beers and a discussion about 1989's Road House. A wild brawl erupts with chairs and glasses smashed. For our milestone 50th episode we discuss the John Carpenter Sci-Fi thriller The Thing. Also, what's better, practical or CGI effects?

We dissect the ultra cheesy 80's explosion-fest, Action Jackson, the first (and last) lead role for former Apollo Creed, Carl Weathers. Also, actors who have failed as leading men.

HO, HO, HO. An axe wielding Santa hovers over us as we discuss yuletide slasher, Silent Night, Deadly Night in our first ever Christmas episode.

We close out the franchise with the newest instalment from the Rocky cinematic universe, Creed. We also include a best and worst of Rocky.

The final chapter of the Stallions boxing career sees him step into the ring with the heavyweight champ one last time. Adam, Jared and Gibbo discuss. One of them even sheds a few tears.

The Stallion is broke and back on the streets of Philly in 1990's Rocky V. His family, Paulie, Tommy 'Machine' Gun, an unscrupulous Don King-like promoter with a love of fur coats and an awful late 80's soundtrack accompany him.

The first two rounds went to the champ, but Adam, Jared and Gibbo feel they can make up ground in these two rounds. Eye of the Tiger, Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago and running through knee deep snow in Russia. What more could you possibly want from the Rocky franchise.

Yo Adrian!!! To celebrate the release of the new Rocky film, Creed, pugilist bums, Adam, Jared and special guest Gibbo, go toe to toe with the Italian Stallion by covering Rocky's I and II.

Leatherface makes his first appearance on the podcast with an in-depth commentary on the classic backwoods slasher, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. In addition, we discuss its aborted prequel, All American Massacre, along with numerous horror movie ideas that never saw the light of day.

Mid 90's buddy cop/actionner The Glimmer Man hits the airwaves this week. Steven Seagal punches and shoots bad guys, hands out deer penis as allergy medication and climbs Mt Everest. Adam also mounts a legal defence of Seagal's acting skills.

Gibbo joins us for our first horror film autopsy, the 1982 Spanish/Italian/US slasher film Pieces. No stone will be left unturned. With inept cops, oversexed co-eds, Karate Professors and chainsaw wielding maniacs, this movie is definitely of the so bad its good variety. Best enjoyed with a couple of beers.

Chuck Norris roundhouse kicks us repeatedly in the face with his 1982 suspense thriller, Silent Rage. We also flirt with bodily harm by discussing forgotten C-grade martial arts stars of the 80's and 90's

We cover the anthology horror film, Trick 'R Treat for our first ever Halloween episode (WARNING: Spoiler alert). That and so much more including a discussion about anthology horror in general, Adam Sandler's deal with Netflix and Adam drops a bombshell!!!!

We check into the Overlook Hotel for some rest, relaxation and one pants wetting night. In between all that we discuss Kubrick's only horror film. Also, we run our eye over the Stephen King adaptions and decide the best and worst.

After the initial excitement wears off, Adam and Jared discuss 5 sequels that arrived with plenty of fanfare (in their minds) but ended up disappointing them.

We dip back in to the Stallone pool for Cobra, a cheesy slice of 80's action that mixes cliches with axe cults and confused plotting. Also, the discussion topic is back. This time we put together the cop who plays by his own rules handbook.

Two prom's on the same night! First up, the boys put on their flared suits and platform shoes and disco dance through the night with Jamie Lee Curtis and Leslie Nielsen. A quick change into figure hugging tuxes and on to the second, more dramatic event. And all the while being stalked by an unseen maniac. Prepare for a big night.

The final episode of Die Hard week, 2013's A Good Day to Die Hard, see's John McClane visiting Russia to reconnect with his son. Mayhem and chaos follow. Adam, Jared and Gibbo go along for the ride. Also, we discuss the age old question - will we see John McClane again?
