Three Things With J.R.

JR catches up with his High School buddy Chris Iraca. Chris is a stay-at-home-dad, (3 kids, 32 chickens, his dog Emma, and his wife Christina).

JR continues calling his friends and surprise interviewing them for the show. This week, JR picked on his amazing cousin Sarah, who's recent work trip to Indonesia got cut short by the pandemic. JR is at it again, calling "random" friends on facebook. This time Tony Larocco answered the call and was able to come up with Three Things, like on the spot. Science, Science, and nut punches. Also, here's how you can find out more about Pale Blue Dot . 

JR steps out on a limb and starts calling his friends list "randomly" to see who'll answer, and who wants to talk. And sure enough, someone did answer, and was willing to talk. Today's surprise guest is Abdullah Jastania. Don't know who that is? No problem, you will after you listen.

Gary, Bryan, and J.R. talk all sorts of sh*t on Gary's back porch after their first band practice in three months. We talk marriage, cover bands, sleeping in, and some updates on the band. And there's new music too! Oh, and we were drinking while recording this.

After a week off, JR is back with three more things. To get good at driving in the snow, you gotta go driving in the snow. It's nice to have options. And "Lost" stickers would be fun to stick on all those "Trump" signs, right?

It's good to be back on the podcast airwaves, I have a new fan of the show! In this week's episode JR talks about a tunnel, the satisfying destructive productivity of cutting wood with a chainsaw, concertgoing (sigh) and tampons. Yeah, tampons, I apologize in advance, I should not be discussing tampons, but I did, so, now you have to listen to that, or not. 

Season two of Three Things with JR kicks off a week late, JR explains why he had to spend another week in the small town of Emmetsburg Iowa. Also, Audio books are our friends, and sometimes small towns can be mean. 

Well, season one, and 2020 in general wraps with the 40th episode of Three Things. In this ep you'll get an update on JR's dad who got sick with the Covid, JR got a speeding ticket, Mom lives in Florida, and we haven't even gotten to the Three Things yet: Disc Golf, Schitt's Creek, and Sammy's White Sauce.

JR is in Iowa this week. JR's dad is recovering from a pretty gnarly case of the Covid. Also, Golden oldies, and an update on JR's butt problem.

JR and ThebandBiG! (Gary Hawthorne and Bryan McKenzie) get together to play some music, film a video, and record this podcast. Thing number one is all about the imminent Covid-19 Vaccine (JR talks science!). For thing number two, JR praises the podcast "Broken Record"...again. And thing number three was a real pain in the butt.

JR is back to discuss that moment when you decide to do something crazy, going downhill fast, Broken Record, and more about Scherzer's desire to kill and eat small animals.

JR's voice is mostly back, he voted, he got his oil changed, his mom wrote him a gross email, he can't wait to go skiing, No Dukes of Hazard in the Classroom, and his dog Scherzer isn't quite the killer he thinks he is.

JR is back, and as you will hear, he was sick, and has all but lost his voice. He shouldn't even be recording this episode, but he did, and now you have to listen, even though thing number three is rather disgusting. Listen at your own risk. Also, go VOTE on Tuesday if you haven't already, and watch The Amazing Race on Wednesday, cuz it's awesome.
