What do you get when you put 1200 teenage boys in a room and tell them to create a government....surprisingly enough you get exactly that.  This 2020 doc that made Barack Obamas list of top movies of that year chronicles the Boys State program sponsored by the American Legion.

Usually Canadian content is welcomed by the Dudes....except when it's not.  We came for hippies, bikers and a wicked story and all we got was a snooze fest.

Christian and Tyler have officially added the subject of this 2009 Chris Smith directed documentary to their list of favourite people.  This doc shines a light on Michael C. Ruppert a former LAPD officer that predicted the 2008 financial crisis.

Astronomy and Genocide...they go hand in hand....right?.......ehhhh well that's what the Dudes intend to find out watching this 2009 doc.

Michel Negroponte directed this 1995 doc about a homeless woman in Central Park claiming to be the wife of Jupiter among many other absurd claims.

The dudes down a man pushed on and decided to tackle Citizen Four.  Albeit a shorter than usual episode.

Tyler is not allowed to call himself a movie lover anymore after admitting to not having seen Apocalypse Now.

We all know about the Sci-Fi movie Dune, from the 80's movie to the one released in 2021 but have you heard of the story of the greatest film never made? 

Another documentary by the outstanding Alex Gibney whose films we have covered numerous times here. 

Well who didn't watch Mr. Rogers Neighborhood when you were growing up? Whether it was during its 33 year run on television or re-runs after it ended Fred Rogers shaped millions of childrens childhoods.  Join us as we talk about this documentary that chronicles the life of an amazing individual.

Concert film? Doc? Who knows.  This week the Dudes watch Stop Making Sense, the 1984 docu.....errrr concert film of the band The Talking Heads.  The Dudes also discuss the merits of a concert film or the lack of.

The dudes were stoked to learn about some Civil War history little did we know we would learn more about getting rejected and possibly the inner monologues of an incel instead.

If you're a Michael Moore supporter you may want to watch this one just as we did.  The admittedly probably also flawed documentary exposes some of Michael Moores lies and tactics to his filmmaking.

With a name like Murderball who doesn't want to play? The Dudes watched this Oscar nominated doc from 2005 which follows American and Canadian Quad Rugby players.

Well this sure isn't swing dancing...The dudes dove into this doc about the 1970's Swingers club in NYC called Platos Retreat.  This one might be our most fun episode yet.

The typewriter.  The old school cool.  If someone had've told me 3 years ago I'd watch a doc about typewriters and LOVE it, I'd tell them they were fucking insane.  Doug Nichols paints a beautiful picture about the amazing tool that is the typewriter.

Whether you've watched the Sean Penn film Milk, know all about Harvey Milk or don't know anything about him at all this is one to watch.  The Dudes...well 2 of them watched and would recommend this to anyone interested in learning about one hell of a human being and interesting guy.

This week the dudes watch the fully animated 2008 documentary Waltz With Bashir.  Recounting the Lebanon War in 1982 and the memories that surround it
