The American sympathizers are awaiting an exit plan for their own safety. Others worry about the threat of the region becoming a strong hold for anti-American extremists. After twenty-years, it is time to cut the cord.

Actually, with all that we have been through, it was a lifetime ago for so many that have been lost. Independence Day is the one day of the year where all Americans are one America. Episode 161 - Writers Group Returns talks about how important it is for writers to be able to discuss their craft. After a year of not being able to meet, the time has come to re-engage. It helps to make you a better writer when you belong to a group where your issues with your writing can be discussed.

Episode 160 - Mask-Off No Thank You talks about choosing to keep wearing your mask outdoors when close to other people. The CDC states that it's safe to remove the mask outdoors. Many people will continue wearing their mask for peace of mind. It can't hurt anything to keep it on for a little while longer.

All mother's who nurture and protect their children should be celebrated on Mother's Day whether you find your mother difficult or not. Episode 151 - Do You Feel Rescued? This episode talks about the American Rescue plan becoming law and what relief it will bring to Americans. It begs the question, do you feel rescued? Depending on your situation, maybe you do and maybe you don't. I believe it gives Americans peace of mind. Peace of mind comes at a cost and I'll take it.

Episode 149 - Talk it out references the importance of mental stability during rough times. A reminder that it is alright to see out a medical health professional. We all need to be able to unload our frustrations through conversation. Every city America has a mental health crisis hotline and there is not shame in using them if needed.

Episode 148 - Change of Heart talks about my decision to get vaccinated. Originally, I was set against getting vaccinated, but with these new mutations, vaccination might be the only way to protect ourselves from an illness that has lasting affects.
