Third Church Sermons

This Sunday we're looking at a very interesting question that a number of our kids asked: “What is Jesus doing right now?” There's a lot to say about this!

This week we’ll explore a difficult and important question about death. In the end, we may not have many answers, but we do have a person, the One who has come into our suffering and death to redeem it.

This Sunday we'll continue our series by looking at the question "How do you know God is talking to you and how do you know he is there?" This is a question that all of us have wondered at times!

This Sunday I'll be tacking the kid question: "What is heaven like and will our pets be there?" This is a question about the nature of Christian hope, which I love to talk about.

This Sunday we'll also be looking at the question, “How are people supposed to know about God if no one told them about Him?", which speaks of the importance of the church's mission to the ends of the earth.

This Sunday we are looking at the question, "Why did God put two trees in the garden?" We'll also hear from our kids and all the music they have learned this week at VBS! 

This Sunday we are starting a new summer sermon series called "Let the Little Questions Come to Me." We are really excited about it! It's based on a set of questions about God, Jesus, and the Bible that we gleaned from our own children here at Third Church. It will be fun, interactive and shockingly profound.

At the very end of the Sermon, Jesus calls those who have heard his words to not just admire his teaching, but to put everything he has said into practice.

This Sunday we're looking at the second of three paragraphs in Jesus' conclusion to the Sermon on the Mount.

This Sunday we are looking at the final bit of teaching in the main body of the Sermon on the Mount.

This Sunday, we are looking at the next section of the Sermon on the Mount which addresses prayer, and our child-like relationship with God as our Father.

We're back into the Sermon on the Mount this Sunday, now starting into Matthew chapter 7. Jesus has a lot to say about how we handle our relationships with one another.

Sunday we will gather to celebrate our Risen Lord. The grave cannot hold him, death cannot win. Hallelujah!
