These Days Are Ours

This week, we get to another of Garry Marshall's most famous films, The Princess Bride... er, Diaries. Peter and Joe are here with a review, and one of them actually read the book this was based on. (Hint: it wasn't Joe.)

How do you make a sequel to Pretty Woman without making a sequel to Pretty Woman ? Peter and Joe try to answer that question as they review Garry Marshall's smash hit romcom Runaway Bride .

How do you follow up  Pretty Woman ? Hell if I know. But Garry Marshall decided to make a romantic comedy-drama about a cook and a waitress who... well, you'll find out when Peter and Joe review  Frankie and Johnny .

Mercy! Hot off the success of  Beaches , Garry Marshall made the romantic comedy  Pretty Woman , which turned out to be one of the defining movies of the entire 1990s. This week, Peter and Joe revisit the film and discuss how it holds up in 2025.

As you may have guessed from that title, this is not an episode of  These Days Are Ours: A Happy Days Podcast . Instead, it's a commentary track I recorded back in 2022 with the late, great Greg Javer. It was intended for a Blu-ray box set but got lost in the shuffle. Greg passed away recently, and I wanted to share this track with his friends. Enjoy!

This week, Fonzie meets Caligula! No, not really. But he goes back to ancient Rome and tangles with a fake Julius Caesar. Peter and Joe will tell you all about it when they review "There's No Place Like Rome."

Two amazing things happen this week: (1) Fonzie and the gang travel to 4th century Norway and do battle with a sorceress. (2) Cupcake gets a love interest. Peter and Joe discuss both of these things when they review "Fjords and Sorcery." You'd be a fool not to join them.
