Overcoming Anxiety: Finding Calm Through Faith and Prayer Psalm 34:4 "I sought the Lord, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears." Psalm 55:22 "Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never permit the righteous to be moved."

An example from the Bible is in John 11:45 , where after Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, many people who witnessed it believed in Him. The news of this miracle spread, becoming "the talk of the town." When we declare that "God's work is going to be the talk of the town," we anticipate something extraordinary that will glorify God and remind people of His active role in the world.

For Belivers, scriptures like Philippians 4:6-7 ("Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.") emphasize prayer's role in fostering peace and reliance on God.

Matthew 6:6-7  New King James Version (NKJV) "But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do."
