The letters to the seven churches in Revelation 2 and 3 are key to understanding the entire book. Unfortunately many prophecy teachers skip right over them, while many preachers ONLY talk about them. In this episode, Taylor and Kelsan focus upon the first two of the seven churches, Ephesus and Smyrna. One church has watered down the Gospel, while the other suffers hardships.

The Seleucid Empire played an important role in the development of Israel and the New Testament, but most Christians have never heard of them. Kelsan and Taylor finish up the book of Amos, discussing verses 11-15 of chapter 9.  Part of this passage is quoted in the book of Acts, and while there are some elements which have already been fulfilled, there are others that are not yet complete. In addition we zoom out and ask the question, "Why did the Holy Spirit put Amos in our Bibles?"

In a perversion of justice, the prophet Amos is brought before King Jeroboam. Rather than backing down, Amos boldly proclaims God's word.

In yet another vision, Amos sees an image of the doom of Israel.

In the final vision in the book of Amos, the prophet sees the Lord standing beside the altar. Because of rebellion destruction is coming.
