Never stop being a good person even when those around you seem to be doing bad.  Always remember that good people have the potential to be misused and overused simply because they can be trusted.  As you go through your day today, know that being good will be despised by those whose hearts are evil.

(BONUS!) You cannot live your best life being mad at people FOR NO REASON. If you are going to have a problem with others, at least be able to put a tag on it. If you can’t, it should bother your conscience. (April, 2019)

It's true.  Some people don't deserve respect but give it to them anyway.  How you treat those who mistreat you, handle those who mishandle you, and help those who hurt you is a reflection of your character, not theirs.  

BONUS! I’m brave in my pursuit of wisdom so I have come to the conclusion that I don’t want much before I die. I just want the Lord to keep me from lying and neither let me be rich or poor. I can be happy with being in the middle. (April, 2019)

BONUS! Give yourself the best chance of survival and success. Pursue those things that God has given you permission to pursue. Today, we ask God to give us everything we need to be successful. (April, 2019)

BONUS! I’m putting whole life in the Lord’s hands. The little faith that I have right now is going to work for me. If no one else does it, I’m going to fight for myself (April 2019)

(BONUS!).  It is my goal to live my life responsibly.  I don't want to make God ashamed of calling me and choosing me to live the life that He has given to me.  I encourage you to do the same! (April, 2019).

It is often difficult to find the GOOD in bad things happening our lives, yet it is possible.  Paul said, the suffering that we endure NOW cannot be compared to the glory of NEXT.  As you experience hardship, know that something good is going to come behind it.  Just because you know how to handle the the bad things that happen to doesn't mean that you deserve...

(BONUS!) At all times, God is looking out for our best interest.  He has us protected and covered.  Nothing sneaks past Him when it concerns you; therefore, don't let anything interrupt your faith! (April, 2019)

From the JOURNEY TO THE CROSS series. . This #Shift is sure to bless you.  Betrayal begins with trust.  A person you have no confidence in cannot betray you.  It be the ones that you have faith in, trust in...you rely on.  That's why betrayal hurts so bad.

From the JOURNEY TO THE CROSS series. Some things have to happen to us but that doesn’t mean that it’s the end of us! It’ll be bad things going on near you, around you, and even far from you but don’t give on up your purpose. You have to make up your mind ahead of time not to worry, knowing that no matter what happens, IT’S NOT THE END OF ME!

(BONUS!) There are many things in our lives that we are unnecessarily carrying. God has taken the load off of our shoulders and we pick them back up when we don’t need to. Put that burden down! And be happy. (March, 2019).

From the JOURNEY TO THE CROSS series. As we go on our journey in life, it is important to take the time to influence the lives of others and one of the best ways to influence a person is to make them feel important.  It doesn't take much.  It just takes you being genuine.

When you're going through life, . sometimes its difficulties can bring you down.  If you will find the strength and courage to get up and put on a new attitude, God will make it worth your while.  He will not only bring you out but give you twice what you had! There's a blessing in rising up!

(BONUS!) Many of us cannot have freedom in our spirits because we struggle with unforgiveness. When we forgive, God will right the wrongs that have been done to us. Forgive and watch God reward you for how you’ve been hurt (March, 2019)

(BONUS!) Every morning, I need the Lord to check ME. I want to make sure that nothing in ME gets in the way of Him doing what He wants to do in ME. This is not a request for Him to investigate others yet a plea for Him to show me ME (March, 2019)

(BONUS!) It doesn't matter who you are or what you do for people, they will only respect you as far as they can see you. If they see you as this, they'll only respect you for this. And that's a hard truth to accept when you expect more. (March, 2018)

(BONUS!) It's a miserable life when you work hard and never get to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Don't chase anything that you cannot be content with. (March, 2020)

(BONUS!) Be grateful for the things that aren't happening in your life right now. There's also blessings in what God doesn't allow to happen. But when you get your seat at the table, don't forget your purpose! Don't waste your seat at the table!!! (March, 2018).

As people, we gravitate to those who connect with our emotions.  Do not feel some type of way when people disconnect from you because you are not showing them any affection, not paying them any attention, or showing them that you care.  It's not disloyalty.  It's the law of affection.

(BONUS!) Let my words and my thoughts be acceptable in the sight of the Lord.  I want to pay attention to what I am thinking about as my thoughts guide my actions and my speech.  If I can have whatever I say, I gotta be intentional with my thinking. (March, 2019).

Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it.  More often than not, we respond appropriately to situations and circumstances that happen to us; however, there are those times that we do not.  Do you have the tendency to overreact to small things? Let's shift.

We all have difficulties in life.  How we react to those difficulties, also called adversity, will determine how our life's story will unfold.  It is important for you not to allow these difficulties to be more dominant than your resiliency.  In other words, don't you dare let what hurt you to destroy you.
