This lesson shows how John the Baptist had faith and believed that Jesus was the One True God. John didn't even get to see all that they other disciples got to see, but yet he knew Jesus was the Messiah and was here to save people from their sins. He preached repentance to all who would listen and pointed them toward Jesus, the One True God.

This is a bonus lesson for this series. We talk a lot about faith in church, but children may not even know what having faith means. This lesson will explain what faith is and why we need faith. We will follow this up by 10 lessons on people in the New Testament that had faith.

This illustration show us that we must forgive others, if we want Jesus to forgive us. We must have both pieces to make a cross. Without the cross, there would be no forgiveness of sins.

This illustration show us that what we think is impossible can become possible. We think things are too hard or too big for us, but with God all things are possible.

This illustration shows us that God can do the impossible. We need to let Jesus come into our lives and do the impossible through us!

This illustration shows us how when we let Jesus into our lives, He cleans us up and gets rid of our sins. He replaces our sin with His righteousness. We need Jesus to clean us up and put His righteousness in us so we will be able to go to heaven with Him and live eternally.

This illustration show how everyone telling just a few people about Jesus can reach other countries around the world. Just everyone doing their part to tell a few people, MANY people around the world can know about Jesus. We all have to do our part.

This illustration shows us that you may receive teaching from many different people in all shapes and sizes, but you must make sure it is the Truth! The message of the Word of God is what matters, not who delivers that message to you. However it is up to you to make sure that whoever you are listening too, is telling you the Truth. This kids lesson teaches them that they are valuable to God no matter what their life is like. Jesus came for the broken and dirty and lost. Your life is valuable to God.
