The message of Christmas is that while humanity is lost in sin and unable to save itself, God sent Jesus Christ, the Savior, to redeem us through His life, death, and resurrection. Pastor Kevin reminds us that this good news is for everyone. Let us respond with faith, worship, and joy, sharing this life-changing gift with the world.

This week we explored that Christmas delivered a reminder that we can trust God. God lives up to His name, so we know He will do what He says He will do. The arrival of Jesus was the fulfillment of a history of promises and prophecy that we can always turn back to as a testament of His faithfulness.

While God’s promises are sure, His timing often requires patience and faith. In week 2 of Christmas Delivered Pastor Kevin reminds us that God always keeps His promises, encouraging us to trust His character, embrace the process, and believe He is working even in the silence.

Rather than the excess and distractions that often accompany the Christmas season the true gifts of the season are God’s presence, joy, peace, and salvation. In week 1 of Christmas Delivered Pastor Kevin challenges us to embrace the unideal and in doing so we can simplify our lives through decluttering, mindful spending, and generous giving, making room for what truly matters.

The story of the ten lepers in Luke 17 teaches us the power of gratitude, as only one returned to thank Jesus for healing him. Pastor Kevin reminds us that by practicing daily thankfulness, we cultivate humility, contentment, and a heart that glorifies God in all circumstances.

What is it to be an apprentice (disciple) of Jesus Christ? In the final week of Firm Foundation, we discussed our commitment to Spiritual Formation: being apprentices to Jesus. The Journey is to be with Jesus, to become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did; being conformed into His image until His return.

This week’s message highlights the blessings of true generosity, urging us to move from simply giving to living generously. Pastor Kevin encourages us that by embracing tithing, we can put God first, build faith, and support His work.
