The World at Ipswich High

Our students reflect on their first term at Ipswich High School. They share their first impressions of the school and their feelings about all they've learned. They also discuss the differences they've found in British curriculum, including our Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) comparing to their home countries. 

Our International students share their reflections on Remembrance Day in the UK and share their stories and experiences of days of remembrance in their countries. 

Our International students discuss Guy Fawkes Night and they are joined by one of our own History teachers, Mr Tope, to provide more information about who Guy Fawkes was and answer their questions about events surrounding the 5th of November and why we still celebrate it today. 

Our students discuss the recent winner of the Nobel Peace Prize and discuss the history of the award and some interesting things they've learned about it. 

In our first episode of The World at Ipswich High, we highlight our impressions from our first few weeks at Ipswich High School and discuss our experiences with travelling abroad, and learning languages.
