On this guided meditation, Matty sheds some wisdom on the concept of time.  We are too hemmed in by modern concepts of time. It really does not exist in any rational construct. So leave work early, go home and watch TV. If management complains tell them Matty K said it was fine.

The federal government collected $3.3 TRILLION in tax revenue last year. Where did it all go? That is probably the most frustrating question for the citizens of this great country. Pork barrel projects, scams and good old fashioned waste. Let's hope some of it gets to the people who need it.

You can't be happy all the time. You would make yourself miserable. Embrace the bad times, the sadness, the anxiety, the pain. They make the happiness so much more rewarding.   And at work, happiness is frowned upon - better to start the day as a grumpy sack.

People are working harder and not "getting ahead". How much is Washington helping them? How much should Washington help them?  Is the game rigged or can people still work themselves up from nothing and reach the top?

Work sucks.  So call out sick.  Tell them you have diarrhea or whiplash or emotional distress;  just about anything goes.  In Germany, you can tell your boss that you're just too hungover; the government says it's fine.
