As we continue looking at the letters of John, we discuss our most prized material possession, Bracelet trends of the past, and the nature of Cheap-Easy Believism.

After discussing our favorite inappropriate moments to laugh, we look at John 1:5-2:2 and discuss what it means to "walk in the light," Jesus as our High Priest, and the necessity of confession and repentance.

Welcome to Season 4! Today's episode is our introduction to 1 John, 2 John, & 3 John along with a discussion on "the Canon," but we begin with discussing the Dawgs' Natty.

"I'm out!" On our final episode of season 4 we discuss the miraculous and mesmerizing exit of Elijah and our thoughts on his ministry and life.

Our special guest this week: Alan Daniel. Alan is our volunteer coordinator here at Awaken. On this penultimate episode on season 3, we take a look at an exchange between Elijah and Ahab's son Ahaziah and discuss Luther and the Reformation.

This week we examine the immediate aftermath of Elijah's triumph at Mt. Carmel. Where's the rain? This week our guest is Matt Mouser. Matt is a native Nashvillian (TN) who graduated from Welch College and pastors at First Free Will Baptist in Columbus, GA.

The moment you have been waiting for, The Showdown on Mt. Carmel is here! Listen in as we delve into this famous encounter from scripture with our special guest: Kenny Sexton. Kenny pastors at Satilla Baptist in Wray, GA, is a graduate of both Valdosta State and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is a regional director of The Bonhoeffer Project.

How about some love for the teachers?!?! First we discuss our favorite teachers from our school days. Afterwards we look at the miraculous story of Elijah and the Widow's son and recap stories of resurrection in the Scriptures.

Have you ever thought about your ideal last meal? After discussing ours, we advance Elijah's narrative to his meeting with the Widow in Sidon and discuss droughts in scripture and what we can learn from the Widow's simple faith.

While looking at the beginning of Elijah's public ministry, we discuss Pastor Shane's missed career as a DJ, college football expectations, and the "ruthless elimination of hurry" in God's setting apart of Elijah.
