The Word of The Lord Endureth

Matthew 28:1-20 - We gather together to worship, but we are to go out from and live our lives witnessing for Jesus.

Galatians 5:14-6:10 - If someone in the church is overtaken in a fault how would you respond? More importantly what does God's word tell you to do?

Acts 5:29-42 - When you hear the Good News of Jesus Christ, how do you react? In Acts 5, we see three very contrasting reactions.

Luke 24:13-35 - On the road to Emmaus we meet two despondent disciples. The answer to their doubts though is to be found in scripture.

Acts 4:23-30 - "You must not teach or preach in the name of Jesus." Peter and John were banned from preaching in Jesus' name. How did they respond? What did they do next?

Acts 4:1-23 - A man had been healed in the name of Jesus Christ. Peter and John were under arrest, how would they respond?

Luke 2:39-52 - On their annual visit to Jerusalem Joseph and Mary mistakenly left Jesus behind.

Luke 2:25-38 - Anna was an elderly woman who had experiences sorrow in her life. However, she lived a life of hope and prayer. She was greatly blessed in meeting Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 - It is remembrance Sunday. We are very aware that many who were called to serve their country and lost their lives . We live in a troubled world, a world that needs reconciliation. But, that has to start with reconciliation with God our creator.

2 Corinthians 5:1-21 - Why did the apostle Paul endure such hardship whilst he preached the gospel of Christ? He was driven by the love of Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:1-7 - In the face of discouragement and difficulty how are we to continue as witnesses for the Lord Jesus Christ?

Luke 18:18-30 - The desire for eternal life is good, and he came to the right person with his question but this man's thinking was wrong.

Luke 18:15-17 - Children were brought to the Lord jesus Christ. They were rejected by the disciples but welcomed by Jesus. He used this as a teachable moment.

Luke 18:9-14 - Two men went up to the temple to pray. One was rejected, the other accepted. Why? Luke 18 vs 9-14

Luke 17:20-18:8 - Life is becoming harder for Christians. There is pressure to conform, to not be distinctly Biblical. Christ has prepared us for this and urges us to pray and not feint.

1 Thessalonians 4 - Are you living in the light of the fact the the Lord Jesus Christ is coming again?

Revelation 2:1-3:22 - The letters from Christ to the seven Churches in Revelation chapters two and three are there for our benefit. Take time to examine your Church and yourself in their light. Christ's warnings are an opportunity for repentance and faith.

Revelation 1:9-20 - What is your view of Christ today? He is glorious and powerful. He stands amidst the churches.

Revelation 1 - The last book of the Bible presents us with Jesus Christ amidst the Churches and in glory ruling the nations. He is working out his purpose. Trust him, glorify him. Worthy is the lamb that was slain.

1 Corinthians 15 - You have heard about the resurrection of Jesus Christ, but what does it mean for you and your future?

John 20:19-23 - They were gathered in a room behind locked doors when the Risen Christ came and stood in the midst. He brought them assurance of peace, a commission to carry out and a message to proclaim.
