Previously, we discovered that a vital initial step for those seeking a closer relationship with God is the act of repentance. In part 2, Pastor Mike explains that repentance is an action taken by an individual, rather than just a concept understood by them.

Is my life in alignment with the values of the kingdom of Heaven? In this episode, Pastor Mike teaches on a prominent theme in the book of Matthew, referred to as the kingdom of Heaven. Pastor Mike also delves into the ministry of John the Baptist, emphasizing the significance of John's message in preparing individuals for this kingdom. 

Not everyone reacts to God in the same way. Especially in the aspect of His lordship over our lives. In Part 2, Pastor Mike discusses three distinct reactions to the authority of this specific King of the Jews.

Are you open to do whatever it takes to deepen your connection with God? Pastor Mike explains in part 1 how the 3 wise men from the east were ready to do whatever it takes to honor the King of the Jews.

In Part 2, Pastor Mike emphasizes verse 21 as the central theme for this section. "He will save His people from their sins. " What sins must people be saved from, and did Jesus fulfill this?

The unique mission of Jesus required a unique birth. In part 1, pastor Mike teaches on the birth of Jesus.

It seems that Jesus came from a family much like our own; a mixture of influences and an environment of good and bad examples. Jesus would have also had to deal with dysfunction, mess and fallout, as a result. In part 2, Pastor Mike will share what kind of impact that had on Jesus and explain how someone can overcome the natural influences of their own family.
