We talk about the roles of the mentor and the student and what to expect if you're in either role.  We get into some pitfalls to avoid and proper attitudes to make sure you're both getting the most out of the discipleship process.  We also tell a few more Army Stories to demonstrate the impact that discipleship and mentoring had on us.

We talk about the importance of application as opposed to mere theories and classroom lessons.  We also get into the importance of making sure the Holy Spirit is the one ordaining the disciple/mentor relationship and provide several examples of what it was like being mentored and when people tried to do things that weren't ordained by God.

We begin our three part discussion of Discipleship and how the meaning sometimes gets lost in the translations.  It still happens today, but we usually call it something else when it actually happens.  We also get into how the military shaped some of our experiences and helped us to realize what discipleship actually is.
