Amanda and Amy from Krewe de Fete came by last night to discuss their upcoming fundraiser! As most of our followers know, cystic fibrosis is near and dear to our heart and we will do whatever we can to help combat such a nightmare of a disease. We also had a visit from a dog, a mic cable go out (which will be immediately trashed) and even talk about some awesome new sponsors of the show!

Leslie Baker stopped in this week to discuss her new business where she shoots lasers at people to make them both feel better, and feel better about themselves. Dothan Area Young Professionals is teaming up with Mercedes Benz of Dothan to celebrate young professionals and their efforts to make our area better! DAYP Board member Caroline Stinson stopped by to discuss this first time event!

Eddie Davis and Sumerlyn Kendrick came by the office to talk about Dancing with the Stars, Dothan Style. DWTS has been a staple event for the Wiregrass for years and is one of the biggest fund raisers for Dothan-Houston County Substance Abuse Partnership. This is going to be the best of the 9 year old event and we are super excited about it!

The EAC Foundation is a non-profit that has been set up to raise money for Children's Cardiomyopathy research. Ellis Ann Cosby was born May 15, 2016 to Megan and David Cosby. Lynne stopped by to educate us on Cystic Fibrosis and what it means to live with it. The normal life expetancy is around 40 years old which sounded old when I was a kid but now that im 36... seems way too young. Check out their event at Rituals Day Spa next week and #bewhatshappening!

Wayne Patterson and Scott Kennedy came by this week to talk about their film project that they are working on. Second Samuel is an incredibly heart warming story of a small town back in the late 40's early 50's era. There honestly is waaaaay to much to say about this episode but its one of my favorite ones to date. Check it out!!

We got a chance to give Don Bellezzo a call this afternoon to talk about "Yesterday". Yesterday is a traveling tribute to The Beatles that tours all over the United States and has some ties to the south as well. Check out episode 87 and #bewhatshappening! We had a couple of our past podcast guests come in and join us for our second annual Turkey Day Trivia game. This one was a little less standoffish and a lot more lively than last years. Be warned though. A lot of Wild Turkey was flowing so the language is questionable at best. Don't listen to this with the kids in the car or if you want to be able to look your preacher in the face.
