Two brothers from small town North Dakota sat down one day and said "Lets build a better duck call" and this is their story.  We have been trying to get together to do a podcast for a few months now but hunting season makes it hard for me to concentrate. So, we decided to wait until after season.  Hope you guys enjoy!    

Andrew and Rachael have jumped into the upland hunting world with both feet. Not only did they get their first pointing dogs this year, they got two! It might sound like pure madness but they may be on to something.  We talk about the ups and downs of puppy season. Realistic expectations for young dogs, and where their adventures took them.

In this episode Travis and I chat about the ups and downs of last season. We discuss the advancement in his young dog. Good trips and lost footage and much more.

We sat down on Christmas Night, which happens to be my birthday, for a podcast, a few drinks, and a ton of laughs. We do talk about some helpful hints and opinions on young dogs, mearns quail tactics, and many other things.

Ok, you all asked for it so here it is! How to hunt huns and sharptails with a flushing dog. Kyle Stokke is my guest and we talk about his road to bird hunting. We chat about his tips and tactics on how he manages to put limits of huns and sharptails in his bag consistently.  

Travis and myself sat down after a few long days of hunting and recorded this podcast over coffee at my kitchen table. Travis has become a great friend over the last few years and I always look forward to spending a few days chasing birds with him.  Also, a few pieces of advice for those folks lucky enough to be hunting North Dakota this year.

Bob and I sat down to talk about the state of the North American Pudelpointer Alliance. They have gone through some changes in the last few years to improve the breed even more!  We also get into other breeds that are doing it right. Not to mention lots of hunting stories.

Connor and I chat about all things waterfowl hunting. From Michigan to Alaska and everywhere in between.  Connor is a hardcore Michigan based guide. He spend many days each year chasing Honkers, Mallards, Turkeys, and all other manners of fowl!

Sam joins us this week to talk about an EPIC trip he is packing to take. We also cover lots of conversation topics such as Pittman Robertson, predator trapping, Turkey Hunting, and much much more!

A.J was good enough to jump on the podcast on short notice this week. We chat about the Project Upland Film that they did about little old me last fall. The film is on their YouTube channel and is titled A Love Letter to North Dakota.

It had a been a bit since I hate my good friend Nate Akey on the podcast. We chatted about what hes been up too as well as plans for a new puppy and for the upcoming season.

Its not often that I get the chance to hunt or chat with one of Americas Elite. The Army Rangers are exactly that. We shared a few fun days of hunting last year and lots of drinks and laughs. I hope you all enjoy it!

WARNING!!! A bottle of bear proof may have been injured in the making of this podcast!  Its always good to sit down with old friends and talk about hunting trips. This one however is a bit different. We were happy to have Brent Kroll come down and have some beers with Bruce and Myself and ask him questions about the Alaska Trip that we have coming up.
