Brad welcomes to Hope For Heroes, 29 year old Brandon Goudreau. A few episodes back we heard from his soon to be wife, Heather Pomeroy, who works for the Boerne sheriff's department. Brandon shares how his experience as a Marine prepared him in becoming a police officer in Boerne. He also is a canine handler and was recently promoted to corporal.

Once again, Brad welcomes to "The Weight Of The Badge" podcast the new Police Chief of Kendall County, Texas. Steve Perez has been a police officer for over 20 years and is a very approachable individual who is honored to serve our community and sees it as a life calling.

As this week's news revealed 19 Austin police officers indicted, one of our guests, Ken Casaday was right there as spokesperson for the Austin police department. Join Brad as the truth about this event unfolds. Also joining us is Joe Brown, who is a great support to the emotional health of our first responders in this difficult time.
