The Old Farmer has the weather for the winter of 2023-24...Above normal temps, precipitation and snowfall...Anything would be more than last seasons near record low snowfall... Expect great weather Monday and Tuesday.... Airline hubs show trouble in MSP and SEA otherwise , if there is a delay, it's not because of the weather!

Generally great weather across the nation on this Friday and this first weekend of November 2023… No major areas of low pressure will be plaguing the airline hubs…In particular dry in Newark, NY, Atlanta, Dallas ,Denver ,Detroit and Boston,,, even South Florida looking OK but they'll have some scattered showers. We start off very chilly on this Thursday morning second day of November…Frost warnings all across much of the interior eastern and northeastern portion of the nation, whereby high pressure is now moving into the nation's midsection with dry conditions extending from New Jersey, New York City ,Philadelphia down to Atlanta westward all the way to the West Coast …Only rainy weather that we see...

First day of November already and the first frost occurring a little bit later than usual in the northeast but just about in time across the Mid-Atlantic and southeastern states. Over the Great Lakes there were areas of snow on Tuesday and then accounted to traces up to as much as four inches mostly the heaviest snow to the east and southeast of Lake Michigan and Lake Superior. Cool weather returns to the northeast for Halloween and the beginning of November…A  first strong frost is a good possibility for either Wednesday night or even Thursday night then a gradual moderation in temperatures should develop as we get into the weekend . Across the nation no major problems with the airline hubs looking  OK at Newark and JFK, Boston and DC but in Charlotte , maybe some showe...

Wet weather greets us on this 30th day of October on your Monday…. looks like a clearing trend for trick or treaters on Tuesday in the northeast but still lots of showers expected across the Tennessee  and the Ohio Valley East extending all the way down to the gulf near Louisiana and Mississippi as a frontal system continues to track further eastward…High pressure builds in for the midweek and loo...

Some airline delays likely at Newark and JFK because of the weather although not too bad and not looking at any severe conditions but with the possibility of IFR weather moving in... the situation usually causes an hour or two delays ...also looking at rainy conditions across the Ohio Valley all the way down into central and East Texas ....This will cause some delays there....Looks like dry condit...

Warm weather continues Saturday, Temps 10 degrees above normal one more day... No major airline Hub problems except t-storm DFW and Snow and rain Denver....Enjoy the weekend ..talk to you Sunday!

Indian Summer aka Second Summer usuall occurs in November, but most folks associated it with warm weather in Autumn....But We haven't had a first killer frost yet... It gets colder this week!

Normal highs should be in the mid 60s...Lows mid 40s but it will be well above those readings today through Saturday... A return to near to below normal conditions early next week.... Enjoy the Indian Summer...What is that, I 'll explain on Fridays report.

Temperatures about 10 degrees above normal today through Saturday then showers Sunday through Tuesday of next week.... Airline travel will be delayed because of weather over Texas to Kansas, Chicago to MSP...... east and west hubs look good! Enjoy the day!

Airline hubs problem place will be Houston and DFW... Some showers in Chicago but dry in Atlanda and CLT ... showers in Miami and MSP ... Denver will be dry and good weather LA and SFO...rain again in Seatle.

Ran a little longer today ... Airline hubs mostly good except Dallas and Houston, all other place with minimal flight delays because of the weather...

A strong Northwest flow will contineue through sunday evening ...possibly a first frost over the Poconos and Catskills early Tuesday then warmer this week...

No problems at ATL, MIA, DFW, DEN, LAX and SFO windy over Chicago.... Mild weather comes Central and East this week..

Major delays in the Newark and JFK hubs because of rain and the chance of thunderstorms... much better weather this weekend  and next week ....

Generally tranquil weather most of the nation althought rain and t-storms over Chicago, Minnisota east into lower Michigan... Expect rain in the east Friday and Saturday...

No major weather problems over the nation except for Chicago and MSP... Fair elswhere, enjoy the day...

No major and even few mimor weather delays over the us at major airline hubs .... ok at EWH, JFK and LGA, ATL, DEN, ORD and Midway.... Dry Denver and most of the west coast, but rain in Seattle....

Typical weather for mid October in the northeast as the colors of Autumn become vibrant... No problems at tht nations major airline hubs so delays wont be weather related.... good at Arlanta, Charlotte, Chicagoo DFW and LAx/SFO... Raining again in KSEA... Have a great day!

No major weather problems at any Airline hub across the nation... some rain in Chicago and Seattle, all other places look good... If you are delayed, its probably not due to the weather.

A storm will cause rain and Moderate weather delays at Newark, JFK and LGa this Saturday but improving conditions this weekend 

Fair weather for Friday in the NJ/NY area but rain moves in for later Saturday and Sunday...only major weather delays will be in Chicago and MSP, but fair in Atlanta, Charlotte, Miami, Texas, Denver and La... Rain in Portland and Seattle.
