The big weather maker for this weekend will be an intense storm tracking across Florida and up the Southeast coast with likely impacts to travel as well. This storm will bring an array of weather including very heavy rainfall, gusty winds, coastal flooding, and some threat for severe weather from Florida to the Mid-Atlantic states. Cool and dry high pressure will remain in control across theregion through the end of the week. A strong low pressuresystem will move up the East Coast late Sunday into Monday. Highpressure may build back in for the middle of next week.

A cold front moves across tonight. Strong high pressure thenstarts to build in through midweek. High pressure continues tobuild in on Thursday and remains in control through Saturday. Acold front moves through late Saturday, with brief high pressurebuilding back in through early Sunday. Low pressure impacts thearea Sunday night through early next week.

Low pressure and a strong cold front will quickly lift outacross New England toward the Canadian Maritime Provincesthrough tonight. High pressure will build across the Mid-Atlantic through Tuesday. A weak cold front drops though thearea early Wednesday. More high pressure returns for the end ofthe week.
