The Way Church

We gather for worship as witnesses of God’s glory in Christ, and we go to bear witness to the Glory of Christ among our neighbors and to the nations so that others may join us in worship.

God’s mission for His church in this world is to bear witness by His power to the King and His Kingdom wherever people are

In fulfilling the Law and Prophets, Jesus provided the only freedom that truly frees, so don’t be foolish, live free!

Jesus didn’t ignore, undermine, or override the Mosaic Law, but instead obeyed, explained, and brought the Law to its intended end

As the faithful Covenant Partner, Jesus affirmed the Greatness of the Old Testament commands, but not without a New Covenant perspective

Who are the people of the New Covenant? The People of God in Christ, Saints who are faithful, believers who are blessed, the elect who are redeemed, and a "royal priesthood" who are reflections and representations of Jesus Christ Himself

Jesus is the fulfillment of God’s old covenant promises and mediator of a new and better covenant of which we eagerly await its final consummation

God, the Creator and Covenant maker, promised a new covenant through which He would make His covenant people new

God is the Creator and Covenant Maker, and in Jesus Christ has provided a faithful covenant partner in whom we can be united to God in covenant relationship

God bound Himself in covenant to David, promising that through David, God would establish His Kingdom forever

As His covenant partner, God demanded Israel to devote themselves to His glory, entrust themselves to His power, and be obedient to His authority

God redeemed Israel from bondage in Egypt and bound them to Himself in covenant relationship as His possession and priests in the world

God Almighty doesn’t need the help of mankind to fulfill His covenant promises but does require faithful obedience of His covenant partner

Believer, we all live in a fallen world where sin is still present; but we also live in a world where God’s Abiding Faithfulness points us to Jesus.

God has bound Himself in covenant to Noah and his descendants and all living creatures to preserve the earth and life on the earth as long as the earth remains

God the Creator bound Himself in covenant relationship to His creation with the promise of life and fellowship or death and exile

God the Creator is the great and glorious, righteous and merciful, faithful and true Covenant Maker

Because Christ is the Prince of Peace; We are no longer children of wrath and we have peace with God and His church

As in the days of Noah, so also today man's sin requires God's judgment

Because of the Gospel, we go in worship to lead one another, our neighbors, and the nations to worship our LORD

We gather, because of the Gospel.

For the Christian, the Gospel literally changes everything; we are who we are because of the Gospel.

Jesus, the Son of God, is the “seed of the woman” who God promised would come to put an end to enmity, bless the nations, and reign victorious forever.

We have earned, and by our own effort, can only earn God’s curse. But Jesus became a curse for us so that by faith, we can receive God’s blessing.

The serpent, Satan, is the originator of sin and death; our battle is a spiritual battle. The enemies we face, whether external or internal can find their origins from the Serpent Satan
