Charles ‘Chuck’ Wright is the newest Commissioner of the Texas Veterans Commission, appointed in March 2024, to replace Kimberlee Shaneyfelt as she wrapped up almost 6 years of dedicated service. On May 16, Wright will take part in his first Commission meeting. March 29 is Vietnam War Veterans Day. Many of these veterans have never filed a disability claim or enrolled in VA health care. Help them take those steps while there is still time. Women Veterans have a lot of stories to tell, and the Military Women's Memorial wants to hear them. Active duty, and veterans are encouraged to upload their stories, pictures, and videos as part of the virtual exhibit. The public is invited to visit the Memorial in person in Arlington, or online.
