Week 12 is here already, and we've got ourselves some pretty big Thanksgiving games coming up tomorrow. But first, we discuss the past week of football, like what's up with the Vikings, and can they recover in time for Thursday Night?

The Veteran and Rookie are coming off their first NFL game experience, which is why the last couple of episodes have been different. Today we talk about it a bit, as well as preview week 11 (Even though by the time this comes out it's mostly done)

Right before heading to Green Bay, the Veteran and Rookie discuss what the Packers should do after their disappointing loss to the Lions.

Even though this was recorded before thursdays matchup between the Eagles and Texans, that doesn't change this podcast. Philadelphia continues to dominate their compotition, advancing to 8-0 on the season. Are they for real, or are they like the 2021 Cardinals and 2020 Steelers?

This week's episode features just the Veteran going solo. Brady and Rodgers are both coming off of losses to former XFL quarterbacks, and most of the NFL continues to look mid. It feels like after one of the most exciting NFL offseasons, this NFL season feels almost underwhelming. 

For the first time in the Matt LeFleur era, the Packers have lost back-to-back games. And they didn't just lose, they lost badly, especially this past week against the New York Jets. The New York Giants now sit at 4-1, and most people going into the season thought they would only win 4 games the entire season. But with that, are the Giants really that good?

Throughout four weeks, the Detroit Lions have been putting up 35 points per game! The only problem... their defense gives up 35.3 points per game, leading to them starting the season 1-3.  In this episode, we look over our pick-em records and draft points so far and lemme tell you, both of us are off to poor starts. Luckily it's a long season, and we've both got time to bounce back.

Even though only three weeks of football have been played, it's still fun to look ahead and see who we think the MVP should be, and we get into that a bit today, playing start bench cut with the three current favorites to win the award, Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, and Lamar Jackson! Wow, week 2 was crazy! Several comebacks, and a few teams righting the ship after disappointing week one performances. The AFC East and starting to get interesting, from the Dolphins 21 point comeback, the Jets 14 point comeback, and the Bills continuing to dominate! (sorry Patriots, you're kinda just there) Will the madness continue into week 3?

Week 1 did not go as expected, especially with the veteran going 4-11-1 with his game picks. So now we either have a better feeling of this NFL season, or we're overacting just like everyone else, or maybe both. Similar to last week, today we draft for what we think will be the best game, the biggest blowout, the upset of the week, our lock of the week, and our player of the week!
