The UnSafe Bible

We, humans, have a difficult time following instructions. Be it at work, where we are frequently distracted, or in a relationship, where we frequently ignore what our partner desires. In today's message, Pastor Ken explains how to humble your heart in order to hear what God has to say to you. When you make humility a part of your life, God lifts you up in everything you do and say. Being humble al...

Many things in life are beyond our ability to accomplish on our own. Because we are flawed, we frequently seek assistance from others, whether at work or in relationships. The most serious flaw in us is that we are born sinners. But do you know who came to our rescue? Pastor Ken tells you today how Jesus came to this world to save you from your sins by dying on the cross and taking all of your sin...

What a statement from Pastor Ken! We as humans frequently try to avoid our responsibilities, whether at work or in relationships. Even as Christians, we frequently ignore what God wants us to do in favor of doing what we want. Today, Pastor Ken explains how to be obedient to God's calling. God lifted Moses up and used him to save the Israelites when he finally obeyed God's call. God also has a pla...

Just as silver and gold are put into the fire to refine them, so shall we be put into a fire of earthly suffering, to form us and shape us into what the Lord has planned for us to become. As Christians, we will be tested, BUT we’re promised that in the midst of our trials and tribulations, we can call out to God, and He’ll answer us! In today’s message, Pastor Ken will encourage you to stay attent...

Being followers of Christ, we are told many things in the Bible about the second coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. One of those events that we are warned about here in Daniel is the tribulation and the great tribulation. It’s going to be a time period of… great tribulation, that many people will endure before Jesus returns. In today’s message, Pastor Ken will share some signs you can look out fo...

The Lord uses unique ways to instruct and develop us as favorable Christians. In today’s message, Pastor Ken will remind you to be observant of ways He communicates, that you might not expect. Just as God spoke to His people in the Bible, He also speaks to us now in that same way, or He uses those stories and prophecies to help our faith increase. Everything God said would happen WILL! And when we...

There is a spiritual battle happening all around us constantly. As much as we feel we have physical struggles here on Earth we also have mental and emotional attacks. As Christians, we will go through hardships and that means we must protect our minds and our hearts from those evil ways. In today’s message, Pastor Ken will encourage you to put on the whole armor of God every day as you battle the...

Sometimes as Christians, the Lord will speak to us in unique ways; Sometimes ways that other people don’t understand or ways they might not believe. But our God is a powerful God Who can perform wonders, just like Saul experienced with the great light. In today’s message, Pastor Ken will share with you some great examples in the Bible about how the wonders of Jesus are proved through history. All...

Jesus Christ died as a replacement for YOU! He went up on that cross willingly to clean the life of your sinful decisions and ways. Everything the Lord sent Jesus to do was accomplished… everything He came to do was done just as it should be done. The Lord knew we couldn't continue in our ways and He loves and cares for us so much that He sacrificed His only Son for us! In today’s message, Pastor...

We have a clear and clean image because of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice He made for us. We get to live free and righteous lives in the name of Jesus for the Lord’s kingdom because we are made in His likeness! In today’s message, Pastor Ken will share with you the importance of truly living into the plan God has set out for YOU! We can truly live into the grace and mercy of the Lord daily, and not let...

There will come a time when the Lord will send His son Jesus again to restore all the sins of the world and take us to our eternal home. While waiting for Jesus Christ to return, we must speak the truth about the Lord to everyone and anyone we can. In today’s message, Pastor Ken will encourage you to share the good news of the Messiah with His people! To share the hope and the promise of Jesus dai...

Guess what - we already know who wins in the end! It also doesn’t make it any less boring to know the ending to our story has already been written. Yet the adventure is still ahead! Pastor Ken reiterates that Daniel knew God’s plan for the children of Israel, but that didn’t stop him from maintaining this relationship with his creator! Today, we may be secure in knowing that there’s a heavenly hom...

I don’t think the world will ever be empty of haters. No matter if it’s the pursuit of your own happiness or more importantly your faith, there will always be opposition. Much like in our time now, Daniel faced the same hypocrites and naysayers - from his own people! Pastor Ken gives a brief example of the ridicule that Christians face today for the sake of His name. The book of Daniel gives us a...

Got a moment for a brief assessment? How are your prayer reflexes? When troubles seem to be raining like a torrential downpour all too often we may be quick to action instead of slow to listen (to God). Pastor Ken emphasizes the fact that in the midst of trouble and despair, Daniel’s first act was the pray to God on behalf of his people. Today, in the midst of the chaos, take time to seek God for...

Don’t throw away your instruction manuals! Having a guidebook for anything makes the task much easier, instead of scrambling to make piece A fit into joint F. It’s the same with our Bible. Pastor Ken continues to caution our listening of Daniel in remembering that the book not only discusses events in the time of Daniel but also events that will transpire leading up to the tribulation. It’s a book...

How well is your life planned out? Now imagine knowing future events of the world beyond your time on Earth. That’s exactly what God did when He gave Daniel visions of the future - 300 years before it took place. Things that would happen way past Daniel’s lifetime, but God had a fantastic plan for it all! Today, Pastor Ken helps connect world history and biblical timelines to ultimately show how G...

It might be outlandish to say, but have you ever experienced the world in the third person? The feeling is known as having an out-of-body experience. It’s not clearly defined in the book of Daniel, but the prophet did encounter visions and dreams God gave him. Pastor Ken even helps us consider that God physically transported Daniel into the heavenly realm to record all that he would tell the peopl...

At a football game, there are 22 active players on the field. Yet there are thousands in the stands, and millions perhaps watching from home. Pastor Ken illustrates that Daniel was the same type of bystander to a lot of spiritual information he received in his prophecy from God - almost like a heavenly overload. For Daniel, it was a somber realization of the things to come for his people, but also...

No one on Earth can truly know what Heaven will be like. Well except if you were a prophet in the Bible that was gifted the ability to see the things of Heaven. How great it is that those prophecies were recorded for us to get a small glimpse into what eternity will be like. Pastor Ken again discusses the importance of the council in heaven and how God establishes order and governance even in the...

Promises are like unbreakable bonds. Pastor Ken points out that there are specific promises, given from God to New Testament Christians (people who have accepted Christ after his ascension to heaven). One of the blessed gifts is the Holy Spirit that has been left with us on this earth. He is a helper and liaison between us and God! Even better is the fact that the Holy Spirit will never leave us....

Compared to eternity, life is just a hiccup in the expanse of time. And while we are here, God is still planning and preparing for the things to come. Today, we see that not only will God be on His throne but there will also be a divine council - as it is called. Pastor Ken continues to detail and dissect the words of Daniel in a comprehensive study that brings a fresh perspective on the things of...

Here’s your daily reminder - nothing surprises God! Did you know God knows exactly what is going to happen in this world and for the end of time? After all, He is the Alpha and the Omega (the beginning and the end as it says in the Bible). Pastor Ken affirms this truth with Daniel the prophet’s words that God ALLOWS things to happen. God cares about this world, and the people that inhabit it, so m...

Have you ever seen a wild animal show remorse for its actions? Think about the last time you saw that nature documentary. Those jackals in the wild did not have a moral dilemma in hunting that helpless, and most likely outnumbered. antelope. In the same way, today Pastor Ken emphasizes God’s intention in describing the evil in the world, and the evil that is yet to come, as beings without any mora...

In today’s message, Pastor Ken shows us that our trials can be a platform for God to show his power to those who may not know Him. Daniel went through a pretty significant trial. He was thrown into a den of lions to be eaten alive. God showed His power by miraculously protecting Daniel from the lions which caused King Darrius to repent and believe in Yahweh. Do you have any trials in YOUR life tha...
