And then we wax poetic (or something) about the Dallas Cowboys, and their cheerleaders.

Conference Semis or 2nd Round. Whatever you call it, the playoffs are heating up and Jeff can barely get to work. And Wally has a new job and we discuss the pros and cons of convenience stores. Strap in folks. We are still hoping for a plane from a foreign nation.

Well it was an exciting weekend for NBA fans, as they tried to get some last news in before Superbowl dominates. So we talk about what looks to be a master class in GM-ing, the acquisition of Fox by the Spurs and then what looks to be the best kept secret, Doncic to the Lakers, and Davis to the Mavericks. Wow, fun stuff. And we don't hate the Chiefs, but we might be betting against them.

We play Dead or Alive and start a little early as we debate who should replace our replica of Santa in Arlington, Mike McCarthy, who is not returning to the Cowboys and now Jerry gets to remake an entire coaching staff. We go over what happened in the CFP Semis and the NFL Wild Card and then Walter and Jeff go deep on how the Spurs have been doing.

CFP is ready to start, but Gregg Popovich gives us an update on his recovery first. Walter brings up statues again, Jeff gives us some Netflix recommendations, and we get around to high school basketball, and football picks. Another week in paradies.

The 12 team playoff is in, Texas has a pretty good path, and SMU comes back from the dead. We also talk about Colorado in San Antonio, and how did the Cowboys find a new way to lose. Well, just a another week in Texas, we think.

Bit of a hodge hodge this week as we shake off Turkey Day vacay. We talk alittle about the state of the NFL, Jeff and Walter talk some Spurs, before Christmas. And we learn more about how to save on golf, if you are in high school.

Jeff had an unscheduled commitment, so it's just Walter and Bob this week. We talk some Project Marvel and are impressed with what we are seeing and perhaps this will be a good thing for the city and the Spurs. We are generally positive. We dismiss the Cowboys pretty quickly, Walter is having fun with the Spurs and we talk some CFP.

We go Walter-less, have a long discussion about Gregg Popovich and the Spurs and then preview the NFL/College football weekend.

We started with the Cowboys and quite frankly it has become sad. So we lean into the sadness. We talk some CFP playoffs as the first rankings are getting ready to be dropped. Pop has some health issues and we are sending good thoughts out to him. Apparently no cell phones in schools is a thing and Walter has an opinion, go figure.

Well, we had a tight schedule this week so went Walter-less today. Talk about World Series, take it easy on the Cowboys and You missed a whole section where we get our weeks confused.

Jeff goes deep on his basketball terminology and we get schooled on the Nail. Jeff talks golf course architecture and has an opinion about some of our local municipal courses.

After a week where one of us decided to go to the cooler climate of Hawaii, we are back. And the Cowboys are ... huh? After another beatdown at home, what are we to think of. While down the road, the Longhorns continue to roll and the Texans look to be contenders in the AFC. Welcome back folks.
