Dwight L. Moody said, "We are told to let our light shine, and if it does, we weon't need to tell anybody it does. Sometimes we forget we are in a spiritual battle. Ephesians 6:12 says, "For we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, but against evil rules and authorities of the unseen world...".  To engage and defeat this spiritual enemy, we must know our adversary and his schemes. However, it doesn't stop there: we must also know our authority in Jesus Christ! 

The fear of man sabotages what God wants to do in your life. Proverbs 29:25 says, "The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe".  The good news is God has a plan for your life and you don't have to worry about what tomorrow will look like. In John 16:33, Jesus says, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." The truth is, when you give your heart to Christ, He won't make your troubles go away. Instead, Christ helps us deal with them and their associated fears.

We are all gifted to do something! God has given us all unique gifts and looks to us to use them. You are important in the church - let's talk about how we can work together best.

All of us have been given gifts but we can choose to use these gifts for ourselves or to serve God and bring others along with us into the Kingdom.
