Wrapping up the book of Zechariah. Going through chapter 13 and 14

In this study, we dive into the book of Zechariah lead by Beth Coppedge.  She will be showing us how the whole book of Zechariah is all about Jesus.  This first session jump right into the book beginning in Chapter 1 and 2.   

In this week we dive into chapter 3 and 4.  We'll take a look at how we are the Apple of His (God) Eye.

Goes through chapters 5 and 6.  The Great Exchange 

Taking a look at Chapters 7 and 8 When Jesus comes its safe, He restores and it effects others 

Goes through Zechariah 9 -10  Behold the King is coming...Riding a Donkey (Zech 9:9)

Zechariah 11 - 12  When Beauty and Holiness comes together. 

When does the sun stand still?  When God fights for His people.  We need to stand intentionally in the blood of Jesus.  There is no hope for those on the front line unless there are those interceding for them.  Beth Coppedge teaches from Joshua 10 in lesson 9 of 9 in this Bible study on the book of Joshua.

Beware of prayerlessness.  That's when the enemy can come in.  The Gibeonites came in deceptively and the Israelites were not even aware of it.  We must be aware of the wiles of the enemy.  If you are burdened to pray--then stop and pray.  It's ok to just say, "I don't know yet" and then take it to God.  Pray to get God's mind.  Beth Coppedge shares from Joshua 8 & 9 in lesson 8 of 9.

The Israelites don't pray about the battle with Ai.  There is a self-confidence and a lack of gratitude and a prayerlessness in their lives after their victory at Jericho.  Beware of beginning in the Spirit and then moving into the flesh.  We need to always depend on Jesus.  Beware of the self-confidence that comes in after a major spiritual victory. Why did God have the Israelites walk around Jericho 13 times?  So they could see the reality that they could not do anything unless God was going to help.  The work of God is not done by me and my self-effort.  There's nothing we can do to move a "Jericho"-only God.  Beth Coppedge teaches from Joshua 6 in lesson 6 of  9.

The people of Jericho were terrified of the Israelites.  They were aware of the Israelite's God.  Do people around us know of the God we serve through our life?  We must surrender everything to God.  We can't hold anything back.  God promises to go before us.  We must trust this. Let God explode Himself in us so we can share Him with others.  God is asking for our abandonment to Him.  Is it costly...

Will we say yes and follow God no matter what?  Will we leave our self-effort?  Will we abandon everything for Jesus?  Beth Coppedge teaches from Joshua 3 & 4.  The Israelites are getting ready and prepared to cross the Jordan River.  The river is at flood stage.  God wants us to have faith in the impossible situations.

Are we willing to press on?  Rahab believed God and put her faith into action.  We need to live with God-sized faith.  Will we take a risk for God?  Rahab stands in the gap for herself and for all of her family.  Will we do this? Beth Coppedge shares from Joshua 1:1-11, 16-18.  God speaks to Joshua and He will speak to us on a daily basis too.  God's call to Joshua is not to stay where he is but to cross the Jordan.  He has more for Joshua.  God promises Joshua provision, protection and His presence.  We can trust that what God calls us to He will provide for us.  Sit quietly in God's presence and let Him teach you.
