The Third Option

Grace gives us the assurance that we are loved by our Creator and gives us the ability to walk through painful circumstances with joy. Grace grants us with the ability to forgive others and extend the grace we've received to others. Grace causes thanksgiving to overflow as we reflect on the goodness of God. We all need it. What a beautiful gift we have access to!

Today's podcast is for all our married listeners out there! Your relationship with your spouse is a very special one. More than a relationship, it's a union, that requires care and grace.

Why are we afraid of grace? Many believe that when we receive the lavish grace of God that it will cause us to sin more and take advantage of God's amazing gift. When you fully understand what Christ died to offer His children and experience true freedom from sin, that last thing you want to do is run back to it.

Fear was our old motivation, but now we are motivated by love. Love is the currency of the Kingdom, and it is our most valuable resource because it comes from Him.

Happy New Year! 2023 brought us highs and lows, but God's goodness has been a constant through it all.

Jesus revealed the heart of the Father, forever changing the picture that God is angry and unreachable. Rather, He is near to us and loves us far more than we could ever imagine. Why is this shift important? It's impossible to trust a God that is not 100% for you. Jesus came and corrected our thinking, showing us that our God was so much better than we ever knew!

What a gift we have in the Holy Spirit! Our friend, comforter, and counselor. It's the presence of God with us that allows us to walk in the fruits of the Spirit and love others in a way that we could never do in our own strength.

Did you know that NOTHING is being held against you and there there is NOTHING separating you from God's love? If you are believing the lie that missing the mark has effected your security in Christ, listen to today's episode for some Good News. As believers, we have been forgiven!

Wholeness is not something we can accomplish in our own strength, but it's the Father who joins with us and makes all things new. Listen to today's episode and be encouraged by the beauty of abundant life in HIM.

Fear is the source of our need from protection - protection from people, situations, theology, news. Love, however, always protects. As believers, we have the opportunity to reconcile and love others differently because of the love inside of us instead of isolating out of fear.

Life is painful. Because of the fallen world we live in and our freedom to choose, there are many opportunities for landmines of pain. We learn to medicate the pain we feel in order to find comfort, but JESUS is THE comforter. Lean on Him today.

Do you ever feel like you need to prove your worth? That the grass always seems to be greener somewhere else? Do you feel caught in the trap of comparison? JESUS is YOUR SUPPLY, and it's only in Him that we are truly satisfied. Trust He is sufficient in every area of your life!

We are all desperately looking around us for other's to validate us. It's a never ending cycle that will never be filled by a person. Our worth is established by our Creator, not by man. Turn to Jesus today and be satisfied by His goodness (Jeremiah 31:14).

Neediness always leaves us wanting, and in that space, we remain unsatisfied. Jesus promised us we would be FULL! Listen to today's episode of The Third Option where we talk about THE antidote for neediness - the love of God.

God is perfect, agape love, and His love has the power to create good, overpower the darkness, and bring restoration to the broken places of our lives. Choose to receive HIS love for you today!

Hebrews 13:9 tells us that "it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace." Grace is God's undeserved favor towards us, and it allows us to KNOW God rather than just know about Him. When we know our Father's heart and fall in love with who He is, we live in the reality of His kindness and everything changes!
