Sometimes it becomes frustrating when trying to communicate across the political divide. There's a difference in terms, perspectives, and 'solutions' but the anger and defensiveness seems universal. Is there a way out?

The steady drumbeat everywhere is that things keep getting worse. Civility is at an all time low. Protests on the sports field and in the streets. Trump said this, now he said that. The hurricane is coming! What if not all the news was bad? What if we were living in the best of times and didn't know it?

When discussing right and wrong, what measure are we to use? What is the standard? One thing that's sure: when Christians discuss these issues, someone always brings up the speed limit.

We take a look back to share and celebrate our successes, great or small. Some steps were easy, others were extremely difficult. All of these we would repeat if we could do it over again.

We share our most embarrassing moments so you can be entertained at our expense. But hey, it's good to know that even when it all goes wrong - life isn't over. It can only get better from here!
