Our minds are incredibly fertile soil.  Whatever we feed them will take root and grow. Paul has specific instructions which will help!

God's promise to Abraham and Sarah reminds us that God will either change our situation OR He has a very good reason for not doing so.

Nestled between the stories of Jesus feeding the 5,000 and walking on the water is another story we need to remember. For it teaches us that Christ sees every storm we face, and He’s right by our sides as we face them.

The ironclad, CSS Georgia, never fulfilled its purpose.  Being weighed down with the things of this world prevents us from pulling up anchor and setting sail wherever God might move us.

Like Paul, you are an instrument chosen by God. An instrument was not fancy or flashy.  Instead, it was a very simple and practical tool.

What might our culture become if we saw each person we encounter as the Jesus we say we love? The love of Christ, and the love for Christ could change the world!

Jonah teaches us that God punishes reluctantly, but stands at the ready to forgive.

If something is of concern to you, it’s okay to discuss it with God – no matter how trivial it may seem to others!
