The Studio 232 Podcast

Well before I get into what this podcast is about, it should be known that this podcast was prerecorded before we knew of the existence of the Frank Solo Podcast. That being said, this supplemental podcast only has Polo and Smitty as the stumble about trying to do all the Frank things.... and of course without Frank, things get a little weird. The only way to know how weird is to listen.

So you asked for it! Well, actually you didn't, Polo and Smitty did, and we finally got the Frank Solo Podcast. Though Frank kind of cheated by pulling a story from a non existent podcast, but we'll let it slide cause he's having too much fun in Hawaii, which he'll tell you all about in this supplemental podcast.

This week we focus in on TV, talking about things like She-Hulk, House of Dragon, and.... Full House? More specifically the episode of full house where Uncle Jessie plays with the Beach Boys for some reason. That and Polo talks about his meeting celebrities. All this and more in this week's podcast.

So for a good chunk of this podcast, it's business as usual, but then like it often does, devolves to madness.... but here's the real question... is a burger a sandwich, and if so, did Polo actually get Frank to talk about sandwiches on the podcast again? Tune in to find out.

We end the Soda Trilogy this week with the final Coke Creation, Dreamworld. So we all tried it and gave our opinions. We also talk about Light and Magic a behind the scenes series on Disney+, which of course has us go on and on about Star Wars, give it a listen.

If the title wasn't a give away, we're on our ridiculous shit again, spending 3 weeks away from podcasting has made us forget how to do the thing, so when we finally do the thing proper like, it still goes off the rails. Go do the thing.

Hello There. Have you been waiting for us to finally talk about Doctor Strange? Well too damn bad, we're talking about Star Wars instead. There's some other stuff, but mostly a lot of Star Wars. Get your droid to play it for you and give it a listen.

So we always talk about sandwiches, but we don't talk about about what to go with it. That's right! It's time for a spinoff of the Sandwich Arc! This week we're talking about Soda and snacks! It might not be sandwiches, but it'll do nicely. Crack open a cold soda and give it a listen.

Well the only way to explain this one is Nonstop Nonsense and ti's some of our best nonsense yet. You're not gonna want to skip this one.

Well Stranger Things 4 finally came out, so of course we're talking about it, if you haven't seen the new season yet, no worries, no spoilers this week. Frank also has a tale from his time in the city and seeing the Mrs. Doubtfire Musical. Oh yeah, and how can I forget, we also talk about Obi Wan Kenobi. Check it out.

So, we kind of go off this week with things that are generally pissing us off, we cut The Batman down to size, then aim our sites on attacking streaming services again. It's not all just ranting though, we generally enjoyed Our Flag Means Death, and Frank talks about that. Give it a listen.

Getting back into the bread and butter of this podcast, we're talking about Super Heroes. We start of with Batman and the DC nonsense surrounding any future projects, then move over to happier tones and talk about Thor: Love and Thunder. Then of course, back to video games after that. Give it a listen.

I'll be honest with you, this podcast almost didn't see the light of day because of Minor Technical Difficulties, but after constantly bashing our heads against the wall, we made it work. We talked about The Matrix, Everything Everywhere All at Once, and you know, some other things. Give it a listen to make this headache worth it.

This week's podcast enjoys jumping back and fourth between crazy and normal throughout the whole thing. But this week's highlight is Smitty's fantastically awful explanation of What If? that you have to hear to actually believe.

This week we're very specifically not talking about that thing with those famous people, instead we're talking about Time Travel Stories, Halo, and the return of Van Life! When Van Life makes a comeback, you just know things are gonna be nuts on the podcast.
