You can tell the season, the occasion, the event based on the Scripture. But ALL Scripture is given by Inspiration of God. Why do we just use certain scriptures and leave the rest alone?

Not all who say to me Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Just as the people had to look at the brass serpent Moses raised, so too must you look to the Cross for Salvation and for life.

Jesus came to fulfill the Law. The Law that man was given to show the inadequacies of man and the need for God. He came and He did what only He could do, live perfectly, Die sacrificially for us that we might have life.

Paul, The Apostle. The one chosen by God to carry the Gospel to the Gentiles, the one given inspiration to pen so much of our New Testament. That Paul begs for a favor. The favor wasn't for him. He chose humility, he chose intercession. A lesson or two for us I think.

It is Christmas time! A time of Gifts, joy, and Giving. Yet what are you giving to Him?

Too often we look at God and Salvation as an A la carte menu. Yes we want to miss Hell, but we don't want to miss all the "fun" of this world.

Life We have lost sight of it. Truth, we have stopped teaching it. Life begins at conception, if they can deny this simple fact, and we, with our silence, let them - all else is lost.

Jesus Loves me. This I know. For the Bible tells me so. That is the Theology that this world needs to hear. John 3:16 is the truth we need to proclaim!

How we forget. How we get clouded memories as we get farther away from the event. Remember record repeat. We have forgotten the Lord our God

Jesus saw a fig tree afar off, looked like it had food, like it was fulfilling it's destiny, but when He got there there were no figs.

Rejoice, Give Thanks, be Grateful for the God who gave His life that we might have life. Rejoice that your name is written in Heaven.
