In this episode, we dissect the many facets of the philamafia bond between Tora and Quincy and the psychology of their complex relationship. We unearthed a lot more than we ever realized. 

Oh Mr. Morrison.... Can't shut his mouth to save his life. Literally. In which we see the non-verbal communication between Tora and Quincy and in which Quincy acts like a boss.

Poppy accepts Tora's offering and scoots straight back to work, where she is met by her loving and goofy friends, Jacob and Erdene.  Tora, meanwhile, has to help out a friend of his own. And a green haired punk throws aside a very important picture, but not a very important DVD.

In which Tora is thrown off by Poppy's intrusion into his personal space and reciprocates with a classic Tora intimidation move; he offers to take her home with his non-existent car; and he offers her.... himself.

We discuss Poppy's use of her stature as a tool; Tora's use of physical domineering; their disparate reactions to the car towing; Poppy's determination and Tora's admiration of said trait; their pause on the steps; and THE HAIRTUCK. 🥴

We discuss Poppy and Tora's intrigue with each other, Mr. Lam's incessant speaking, Tora's alpha male approach to Poppy, and his inability to stay away from her.

Together with Hope and Patty, we meet the sicko that is Vincent, and analyze Tora's interaction with the clan. We learn about Tora's disturbing childhood and its effects on Tora. And we see Poppy save a cat and Tora.... save Poppy.
