The Sports Nerds

Despite the fact the NFL is over for the year, we still managed to get a lot in this week.  plenty of NFL, MLB discussion, plus a segment on Cricket of all things.  plenty of quality back and forth, our disgust with the MLB situations, and a lot of off-the-field stuff in the NFL going on.  Enjoy!!

Tonight we recap Super Bowl 56 between the Rams and the Bengals, providing our own spin on what we saw and what we thought of what happened.  We covered the MLB Lockout, NHL, and of course the state of the NBA at the All-Star Break.  A good show with great content...  Enjoy!!

Tonight was a three-man show as Jon was not feeling well and had other obligations.  Tonight's show was all about perspective and what we, as fans of our respective teams feel about the wins they earned today.  was a great show with plenty of viewer participation.  The Browns win, The 49ers win, the Cowboys win, but then there were the Bills...  not so much.  Enjoy!!

Another week another NFL recap. Tonight Jon and I flew solo.  we were a couple of grumpy guys talking about he the status and position of our respective favorite teams.  It was pretty depressing but still, entertaining.  we ended the show on a positive note talking about movies

Tonight - Eliot returns!!  It was a night where I was crying crocodile tears into my Browns fandom.  what a disgusting performance by the Browns today.  Jon was happier this week than he was last week because after all, the Bills played the Jets.  A lot of fantasy perspective this week as it has been a weird season for fantasy football.  Enjoy!!!

Tonight we recap the week in the NFL.  I have a hard reality to accept and Jon has a rant on what happened LAST Sunday in Kansas City.  Today was filled with games that will soon be forgotten and a couple of games that were pretty good.

Tonight we tried a new format, streaming directly from REstream and it worked out pretty well after some initial technical difficulties.  Short show tonight because of the prime-time game Buffalo vs Kansas City.  Jon was distracted, I was distracted, and it just felt right ending early.  Enjoy!!

Tonight we started with the MLB playoffs and allowed ken and Eliot to brag...  Eliot isn't as happy about the Yankees making the playoffs as you might think.   After MLB we reviewed week 4 in the NFL with plenty of Bills Propaganda and me lamenting the woes of the 3-1 Browns.

Tonight we discuss week 3 in the NFL, going over each game and providing insight and comments on each game.  Ken did NOT provide any spoilers but the Raiders and Dolphins decided they were going to take up the majority of the first part of the show because regulation was not good enough for either team.  Enjoy!!

Tonight we celebrate week one of the NFL season with recaps of all the games.  Eliot is the only member of the panel that can celebrate a win.  Jon has some harsh words for Bills-Steelers and I have some words about Browns Chiefs.  It was fun to celebrate the return of the NFL and discuss and overreact to the first week of the season.0

Tonight we focused on Major League Baseball (for a change) and discussed several topics including the shooting outside Nationals Park in DC, the incident in Yankee Stadium where a fan threw a baseball at an outfielder, second-half predictions, and Manforts plans for changes next season.
