Despite feeling hopeful most days, today I feel hopeless. I talked about current issues and how polarizing they can be for all people. People are picking sides and some are doing it blindly. I challenge us to think logically and critically. We don't have to agree, but we have become extremely harmful to each other. It's time to really seek to treat each other with dignity and respect. 

I've felt guilt before for having such an amazing dad in comparison to the stories I've heard from people I know who wish they had their fathers in their lives. Black sons need their fathers.
