This past week was a busy week for album releases, which means we got the pleasure of absorbing new music! Find out our thoughts on "How Did We Get So Dark?" by Royal Blood, "Melodrama" by Lorde, and "Rare" by Hundredth on this week's episode of The Skinny. It's been three years since Rise Against last released a full length album. Did the short break help refine their sound? Find out what we thought in our track-by-track review of "Wolves"; the band's eigth album. We also briefly review "Selective Hearing", the new EP by DIY band, Our Last Night.

On this week's episode, it's jam packed. After we read some messages and emails, we discuss the new album release dates for Being As An Ocean, Manchester Orchestra, Brian Fallon, Punk Goes Pop 7, and Cory Wells. Afterwards, we follow up on the autopsy and toxicology report of the late Chris Cornell. And finally, we review new albums from Dreamcar, Blink 182, Art of Anarchy, and the Goo Goo Dolls.

After a short break, we're back with a new episode! In the two weeks we were gone, some big news and big albums were released. We spend a good portion of the show discussing the tragic loss of Chris Cornell and the few details surrounding his death.
