So much to discuss from the weekend, and we have a real pro with us this week, Ben was away skiing so we found a suitable replacement of multiple OLY and Ski Sunday queen, Chemmy Alcott. Much has been said about Cortina this weekend, maybe more from the media and fans than the racers themselves so we have to get into that! Tough weather conditions on both the mens and the womens races this weekend but the racing certainly lived up to the billing. The racers needed to stay in the racing line to be fast this weekend, Ed, Ben and Marcel find themselves straying off piste on more than one occasion in this one. Listen. Watch. Play.

Cancellations continue to plague the World Cup, but thankfully we got 2 womens speed races under our belts. Whilst on the mens tour the GS got away and the slalom was cancelled and Ed gets to rant not once but twice! Listen. Watch. Play.

Wow what a place Levi is, and the women were on fire as much as the scenery! Vlhova has come to play this season with some stellar skiing, but couldn't walk away with the double... Still no racing for the men this year and still no racing on the Zermatt-Cervinia downhill course... will the women have more luck this coming weekend? Listen. Watch. Play.

After a week away from the racing we are back and now it feels like its non stop between now and the end of the season. The women and in Levi for double Slalom and men are, fingers crossed, are going to get to race in Zermatt-Cervinia for a World Cup first as we cross boarders in a World Cup. Season 6 of The Ski Racing Podcast is underway. Ed, Ben and Marcel have been back behind the mic and looking forward to the upcoming season. With a month to go until the start of the 2023/24 World Cup tour its time to sharpen those edges and wax those skis in preparation for the return of the Predictions League! Shiffrin equals and then surpasses Stenmark's record victories on the World Cup. History was written of the last 2 races on the womens tour as the record tumbled after Shiffrin dismantled the field on both GS and Slalom skis. Odermatt was pushed to the limit and still came out on top in a GS double header in Slovenia. World Cup finals start on Wednesday... Get entering the predictions league ASAP!...

Conditions tested the Worlds best last weekend, history was made, titles were decided and athletes booked themselves a ticket to World Cup Finals. Lots to discuss, sit back, relax and listen to the the 3 of us ramble on as the season draws to a close. Listen. Watch. Play.

Palisades Tahoe, where to start... Awesome job just being able to get the races away with all that snow, and the athletes didnt disappoint. The women were in action in Crans Montana with there own weather challenges. No Ben or Marcel this week, I'm sure they are away setting up a T-shirt factory... Welcome back to the World Cup ice, its been far too long! Cortina was in all its splender over the long weekend even if the windy conditions shortened one of the races. Kitzbuhel didnt disappoint either. The first DH in particular was epic and then what can you say about the slalom, apart from, The Rocket was back at it again! Listen. Watch. Play.
