Luke is in full Star Wars hype for Kenobi this week. So much so that he's gone on a deep dive through the games and novels to a arguably unhealthy degree. Other than that the boys talk about what they've been playing, and what they're looking forward to this year

Another new episode. This time we talk about EA losing the license to FIFA and what comes next for their studios, BJ's rekindled love for the 3DS, and Luke goes back into his pop punk bag for some sick new music. 

Another week, another moment for Luke and BJ to talk video games. BJ finally finished the audio book for Crazy Rich Asians and he gives his verdict on the whole story. Luke is still going down the sonic rabbit hole with Adventure 2 and Unleased. Plus we've got some Square Enix news that's not to happy.

Sonic The Hedgehog is back in the mainstream with the success of his second movie in theaters. However he's had a plethora of content since the first one released. The IDW comics have been going strong and we've had Mania Plus release. It Seems we are in a boom of good sonic content. Lets hope Sonic Frontiers can keep the positive energy. 

In a surprise announcement, Square Enix decided to show of some upcoming projects for Kingdom Hearts on its 20th birthday. We got a couple mobile game announcements, but the big reveal was that Kingdom Hearts 4 is in development and is the next mainline game in the series. No side games, no Verum Rex, a true sequel. We have made it boys. 50 episodes in. and what a better way to celebrate than to redo our very first topic. We go through our own personal favorite games of all time once again but this time not as awkward and nervous as before. plus we go over the slap heard round the world, and the delay of one of the most anticipated games. 

Its Been a quiet week in video games it seems. That or we have just been completely overtaken by Elden Ring. Good thing we've got comics to break the cycle. BJ finally read The Long Haloween and gives his impressions, and we ponder Batman's greatest Mystery. 

We're back with some more Elden Ring talk and our impressions of The Batman. We go on a bit of a comics tangent detailing why we like Batman in particular and round out this episode with some Stranger of Paradise impressions. 

Elden Ring is here and its swinging. Despite other open world games coming out weeks prior, Elden Ring has taken the world by storm. Were back on the grind boys. New announcements, new releases and new updates on games this week like Street Fighter 6, Soul Hackers 2 and Cyberpunk getting its next gen update. Add in a sprinkle of anime and you've got yourself an episode!

We've got another hype anime podcast for you. We go over a whole slew of anime in this one. Figured wed just turn the mics on and talk, no real direction. 

Nintendo finally shows us whats in store for the first half of 2022. and boy is it exciting. As an rpg fan, there Chrono Cross, Earthbound, Live A Live, and Xenoblade to look forward to, and Mario Strikers and Wii Sports are coming back. And now Mario Kart 8 is getting 48 new tracks. Nintendo is shaping up to have a banger of a 2022. and we still dont know too much about Breath Of The Wild or Bayo...

So Sony has entered the buying wars and its a bit of a weird one. Also both BJ and Luke have gotten their hands on Pokemon Legends Arceus and they have some things to talk about. Add in a bunch of anime talk and its another Side Quest episode.

Microsoft once again swings its comically large pockets and buys yet another publisher. However, unlike Bethesda, Activision is on a whole new plain of reality. The likes of Call Of Duty, Crash Bandicoot, and Prototype now join the ranks with Halo, Doom, and Banjo Kazooie, falling under Xbox. The future of Xbox looks pretty good now, but what of the rest of the industry? Will Playstation be forced...

We're in boys. We are caught up with the Kingdom Hearts recording with Landon. In this episode we have gone through the side games leading up to Kingdom hearts 3. Even with BJ and I's expert knowledge, Landon at this point has no idea what were talking about. and were still not done. Strap in. 

After a long wait, we finally have part 2 of our Kingdom Hearts recap. This was recorded back in September of 2021 so bare with  us on the audio quality. In this episode we go over Chains Of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 2 and 358/2 Days. We have many a laugh at the questionable plot decisions, the gay and homophobic contradictory themes, and racism. It seems that some of the biggest developers are cashing in on the NFT train. Ubisoft has already implemented NFTs into Ghost Recon, and now Square Enix is interested and claims NFTs are the future of gaming. We however don’t agree.

2021 is over. We've got a new year filled with games, anime, and so much to look forward to. But lets take a moment to ramble on about what we loved this past year.

The Game Awards have come and gone and it was an interesting one. It seems every year there are more ads and commercials than actual awards and reveals. Its understandable that Geoff and his team need to make money for this event, but its getting a bit hard for you to enjoy an award show filled with mobile game adds and movie trailers, instead of actual awards. We've got the remakes of Gen 4 of Pokemon, and Luke has some impressions. Plus BJ give his impressions on Tokyo Ghoul.

Its that time of year again boys. The Game Awards are here and its time to vote. Who will take home the big bucks? Who's going home a loser? Which game will walk away with a lot of undeserved awards? We won't know until the actual awards but we can predict and give our own impressions for now. 

We've really been here for a year haven't we? A full year of stupid jokes, excellent E3 showcases, and two dorks who really like Final Fantasy.

So apparently Call of Duty is forgoing realism and adding anime. Levi from AOT might be making his debut in Vanguard according to some datamining. Whats next Naruto in Fortnite?
