Following into extra innings again, the Astros fell to the Guardians in a 3-2 loss leaving many to pose questions regarding the extra innings rule of sticking a runner on second base. Sean and Brian take a moment to discuss does the rule help a victor emerge or gives an advantage to the other?

Recently, the Astros took on the Rockies over the weekend in a two game series down in Mexico City, both in which they won. Adding another win yesterday against the Guardians, the Astros have now won three in a row. Dana joins and shares thoughts regarding the weekend and updates moving forward.  

Since the start of the season, there's been a shortage in regards to pitching not only in Houston but across the league entirely. Set to rely on the bullpens with many starters absent, Sean poses are analytics hindering or helping pitchers from achieving their full potential on the field?     

Over the weekend set in Mexico City, the Astros took on the Colorado Rockies in a two game series for the MLB World Tour, both in which they emerged victorious in. Steve Sparks joins in discussion of the Astros weekend along with a few player updates, and what to look for against Cleveland next.   

Shocking picks from all thirty-two teams across the league were made yesterday, with Round 1 now in the books and Round Two set to go underway today. Trading out of the first round a couple of weeks ago, Aaron Wilson joins in talks of prospects the Texans may be eyeing for today's picks in Round 2.

Hoping there's a turning point coming sooner rather than later, yesterday the Astros lose to the Cubs resulting in a sweep in Chicago. Joe Espada was ejected in what seems to be a sketched tossing towards the end of the game which leads many to ask, is the Astros best baseball behind them now?

Taking on the Cubs for their second game of the series, the Astros fall short yet again in a 4-3 loss in Chicago. Following the loss, they're now 7-18 and have now finally made changes to the lineup in question. Sean and Brian discuss who's a better fit in the lineup, Jake Meyers or Mauricio Dubon? 

Still attempting to get things turned around and the ball rolling for the season, the Astros have continued struggling to close and win games. Astros GM Dana Brown joins the guys in evaluating what's been shown thus far production wise and what could be seen as the underlying issue. 

Former pro quarterback Tony Banks joins the guys in discussion of this years remarkable draft class set to tip-off tomorrow morning. With some huge names hitting the board and coming into the league this year, Tony takes a moment with Sean discussing top prospects to eye and where they may land. 

Set to take on the Cubs this afternoon, the Astros have continued to struggle to win games resulting in only 7 wins, the least amount in the AL West. Some feel the learning curve for Joe has surpassed him now and wonder when will things turn around. Has Joe earned a decent managing grade this far?  

Over the weekend the Astros kicked off a three game series against the Washington Nationals. Making his first debut of the 2024 season, Justin Verlander lead the Astros to a 5-3 victory Friday. Steve joins the guys in evaluating the blunders over the weekend along with recent IL updates.         

Starting the season off on the IL list with elbow soreness in preparation for spring training and the season opener, Justin Verlander gears to make his first debut for the 2024 season this afternoon against the Nationals. Could Verlander be the answer the Astros needed to get the season rolling?

Yesterday afternoon in the final game for their series against the Braves, unluckily the Astros fall to Atlanta resulting in a sweep for the series. Posing questions as to what's the issue, the only answer ever seems to be the referral of ones previous accolades or 'baseball card' in response.
