Dating back to his earlier years at SC and before being drafted first round, NFL Hall of Famer Bruce Matthews joins Sean in a trip down memory lane. Sean and Bruce reminisce on the days before the league, making the first round, and him sustaining dominance throughout his nineteen year long career. 

Finishing their last series against the Rangers, the Astros have turned things around drastically. Falling ten games behind five-hundred at the beginning, to just one game from division leaders, Steve analyzes the Astros first half of the season along with a few pointers to note moving forward.  

Following the rough start at the beginning of the season til now, the Astros have switched the gears. With injuries galore since opening week, Joe Espada has managed to do the impossible, rallying the roster back to just two games from division leaders. Could Joe be considered manager of the year?

With the All-Star break approaching, along with the trade deadline not too far behind it MLB Network host, Robert Flores joins the guys in discussion of the Astros organization, a few possible trade proposals we could see, and possible favorites to make it from the postseason to the World Series. 

Despite the Astros loss in the series to the Twins, the Astros kick back into gear last night pulling a 4-3 win over the Marlins. Dana joins and shares his thoughts on the production seen since the start of June along with a few updates regarding the trade deadline and Lance McCullers Jr.

Just recently, the league announced their pitchers and reserves for the 2024 MLB All-Star game approaching next Tuesday. The Astros have named three players for the game: Tucker, Altuve, and Alvarez. Many wonder as to how Ronel was snubbed regarding his phenomenal performance this season starting.

With football season around the corner, professional offensive line coach Jim Turner joins the show in talks of the significance the offensive line holds. With training camps set to begin in just a few weeks, Jim sheds the importance of the offensive lines throughout the semi and pro leagues.  

Over the weekend, the Astros took on the Mets for a shot at shooting over five-hundred. Falling short Friday, they emerge victorious the following two days with a huge team win with only the bullpen backing. Steve addresses the Astros will to win and what must they do to sustain this great run.  

As the Astros kick off their away stand today against the Mets, they have turned their season around following a seven game win streak finally arriving them at five-hundred for the first time this season. Sean and Brian discuss how crucial the need for a first basemen before the deadline may be. 

Following some huge headlines throughout the week, SEC Network play-by-play announcer Tom Hart joins the show in talks of the new prospect the Rockets have gained in last nights first round Reed Sheppard. Tom also weighs in a bit on the head coaching controversy at A&M regarding Jim Schlossnagle. 

Hoping to sweep the Rockies this afternoon, the Astros have nearly surpassed the narrative they've been given since the start of the season. Astros GM Dana Brown joins discussing the Astros winning streak, a few player updates, and a few lingering questions that many pose regarding the roster.
