What is wisdom? How does Godly wisdom differ from worldly wisdom? Selfishness and jealousy can motivate us to all kinds of evil, but God’s wisdom will guard and guide us. It’s easy to use our tongues inappropriately. We often use the wrong tone, speak without thinking, or we’re quick to defend and speak when we are angry. In chapter 3, James discusses the extreme power of our tongue, reminding us that words have a great impact on our lives and the lives of others. He emphasizes that we need to be extremely careful with the words we choose to utilize.

What does “saving faith” look like? Is it possible to know some things about God and not be saved? What do works have to do with faith?
