I believe with all my heart that there's only one entity, one institution, which eradicates racial discrimination and removes race as a valuation factor: the church established by Jesus Christ. In Acts 10, we learn that God does not discriminate, and in fact calls all races to be united to Himself as one body.

Don't you love this verse of "How Firm a Foundation"? "When through fiery trials thy pathways shall lie / My grace all sufficient shall be thy supply / The flame shall not hurt thee; I only design / Thy dross to consume and thy gold to refine" This verse comes from four different Bible passages, which we'll explore in their contexts in today's Podcast episode.

"When through the deep waters I call thee to go. The rivers of sorrow shall not overflow..." Do you know that verse from "How Firm a Foundation"? It comes from Isaiah 43, a precious promise which unfolds in five certainties, which we'll look at together in this episode.

Remember the line from How Firm a Foundation: "Fear not, I am with thee, oh be not dismayed, for I am thy God and will still give thee aid"? It comes right out of Isaiah 41:10, which is an incredible passage to study. In this episode Rob unfolds the context around this incredibly encouraging verse.
