The Rim Church

Prayer must be the beginning place of BLESSing because it is in prayer that our hearts become aligned with God’s heart. This is where we get clarity on where God is already at work and how we can join him. Austin Johnson  Gen. 2:7, Gen. 12:1-3, John 20:21-22, Luke 10:1-12

God calls all of his people to join him in his mission. The calling is not just for a few, or the religious leaders. The nation of Israel as a collective was called to enter into the promised land. Last week we saw Moses beholding the presence of God. He had this moment of intimacy with God at the burning bush. But his moment of intimacy with God did not end at a bush. The intimacy he found led to an invitation to follow YAHWEH in leading Israel out of Egypt. We pick up the story today with Moses having led the people who would become known as the nation of Israel in a different place....
