There have been very few periods of time in which the world has known peace. As a result, we associate peace with lack of conflict. Peace is trusting God in the midst of the storm to the point that the storm doesn’t get into you. Jesus, who is the true definition of peace, brings us into knowing peace beyond our understanding, which is wholeness of and with God.

We all desire a father who will never leave our side. Jesus is the Everlasting Father, so not only does he go beyond time, but his love for us will never cease. When the accuser comes to attack us, he runs to our defense.

Under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, Isaiah was given description of someone he had never seen or met, centuries before he would come. This Jesus, Mighty God, fulfilled over 500 Old Testament prophecies. He holds all authority over life, death, heaven, and earth. Our champion is unmatched.

Names are important. They carry meaning and description. Isaiah prophesied names of the coming one, that would give definition of who He is to the entire world, as well as to each of us, intimately. As our Wonderful Counselor, he is our emotional help, our trusted advisor, and our legal advocate.

Intercession grabs the attention of heaven. Moses stood in the gap for a rebellious people, showing us the power of fervent prayer to lessen God’s wrath and bring transformation. When we take our seat as intercessors, history shifts, revival is birthed, and heaven moves on behalf of those we lift up.

Hezekiah was respected as a great leader because he feared God. He was faced with potential annihilation by a formidable army. Instead of running to his war room to strategize, he ran to God's throne room & cried out to him desperately. When he thought everything was over, God stepped in and turned everything around.

God designs and creates us to be carriers of his presence, and then he sets us in community. The enemy of our soul constantly seeks to ruin God’s image bearers in isolation and bitterness. When we embrace community we find healing. When we worship, God arises in our midst and our enemy flees.

God is not offended by our cries of despair. Jonah created a mess for himself by being directly disobedient to what God told him to do. He cried to God from the literal depths of despair, as his only means of salvation. In His mercy and goodness God was willing to deliver Jonah from the consequences he created.

Prayer is central to Jesus’ heart and he teaches us how it can be central to our hearts. In the many moments when you have no words to express yourself to God, he provides a prayer that covers our every need in provision, forgiveness, and deliverance.

The question we should be asking is "am I weak enough?" God is attracted to our weakness. When we don’t know what to do in trials, we need to humble ourselves to cry out to him. Not only will He rescue us, but He will give us a deeper revelation of who He is.

You can either take your thoughts captive or be held captive by them. Scripture declares we will be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Allowing God to wash the distorted thinking from our minds is how we can overcome anxious thoughts, bitterness, self doubt, and other mental struggles.

We will overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. It is so important for you to tell your story. Forrest shared his story of the miracles provided at his rock bottom to lead him to the revelation that the all loving God desired restoration for him.

Like many believers, Josh Sanders spent much of his life distancing himself from the church. As he pursued a career in music, he was left questioning the purpose of it all. God aligned his heart for the church, and Josh had the opportunity of a lifetime to sing the about the Gospel on Season 25 of The Voice.

Ben & Liz share their story of how God revealed His intentionality in weaving their stories together. By calling them to pray for the same storm in their lives, he brought them to a place of healing and new life.
